lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

Looking at what God did with Israel. ( who are the Gentiles example to not fall away after the same example of pride. Jude 1:5-7)

God gives details of what He did with Israel, they were His vineyard, in a very fruitful place, and God did lots of preparation for it ( Israel) even declaring what more could have been done, and yet they brought forth wild grapes ( bitter wild behaviour.)

Jeremiah 3, shows the same, how God had planted Israel ( His vineyard) as a noble vine, ( the seed was planted by God, as noble) but Israel, HIs vine planted, turned into a degenerate strange vine to Him. ( turned into wild.)

Isaiah 5:1 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

Jeremiah 3:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.
20 For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
21 Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?

As told, Israel is an example to all the world ( of Gentile believers/Christians) to not repeat the same error. The error was not being as the Lord had intended them to be, although, as God said, He prepared them as well as could be, and they rebelled and produced only wildness ( bitterness)

That is why we are to take heed, how we hear, because if we do not have ( anything good produced by the good seed planted by God, the same as it was planted for Israel, God describes it this way: A NOBLE VINE, WHOLLY A RIGHT SEED.)

The Son of man ( Jesus Christ the Son of God) plants that good seed for all ( it is the Gospel message, the words which are Spirit and life.) and the devil at the same time places other seed( words) to cause us to not take heed how we hear, and instead of producing fruit ( love, charity, which seeks not her own. 1 Corinthians 13:5.) tares are produced which choke the word, to trust in exaltation, the pride of the devil. ( 1 Timothy 3:6.)

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Luke 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

Here is a typical opinion of a person who imagines that we cannot fall away/lose salvation....

"Seed can only bring forth after itself, so God's seed cannot bring forth evil fruit.

The word is the seed by which we are reborn."

That of course is false. We just seen in Gods testimonies, how seed brought forth strangely, and that it will in everybody, unless they do unlike Israel, to take heed how we hear, and what we then do. ( God had planted a noble vine, a wholly right seed but it degenerated.)

It is not difficult to establish, all Jesus Christ shared with us ( Himself being meek and lowly) is for HIs few followers to be unlike many, to instead of being exalted, to be abased, instead of being lifted up, and without fear of the Lord, to fear, and to not only not boast, but to humble instead, or know ( unlike the false prophets/teachers, spread message) that we will be cut off, boasting as Israel did not not FEARING THE EXAMPLE ? When we rejoice in such boastings, it is evil, how can forums allow deceivers, and even prevent the rebuke, and call that wrong ? How much judgement God will be doing soon..

Luke 14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.
8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
