Living as if there is no tomorrow.

considering Jesus' statement that we shouldnt worry about tomorrow, should we live a life of eat-today-die-tomorrow

No.

Jesus said don't worry about tomorrow, not don't plan for tomorrow. Proverbs if full of the wisdom of those who think about and plan for the future. In fact, that's what salvation is all about--making preparations now for what is to come. The fool is the one who does not plan for and consider the future. But it is also the fool who, when he does think about the future, frets about it. That leads only to evil.

Of course I will eat today, and if I am alive tomorrow, I will eat again. :pepsi:popcorn

Kidding aside, some here, as also me, might not have too much time left here on earth until we come here again with Christ.
I have been living on borrowed time, since August.
Will need some heart work next month.
I try to enjoy each precious moments, that I might have left.
Telling everyone, how much I love them, including my Maker, and how much they have meant to me.
You seem to look at things differently and see all the stupid pettiness, when you have been through what some of us has.

Live today like it is your last, because,
One day it will be your last. :halo

So true.
Starting to get old has begun to teach me the lessons you have learned.
It's interesting how thinking about tomorrow is indeed very appropriate and can work peace and righteousness in us today.

“Therefore do not be anxious about
tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for
itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
