Love and loving

It seems that these "love" and "loving" are vastly being abused and misused.

Love is very complicated concept. I love my family dealy but I don't allow them to do everything they want to do or say.

As Christians, we all have responsibilities for the Lord and pursuing doing so is "love" for Him and for others.

The Bible tells us to expose the evil deeds of darkness. (Eph 5:11)
Not too many are willing to do it. This responsibility is not pupular. You will always be accused of fingerpointing or not loving.

We should stop fingerpointing at people who are doing this job. by exposing the truth and reality, many people will offend it because they fit into accused category.

Just because the truth and reality does not sound loving to you does not mean it is so. We should let exposers do the examination of themselves instead of others fingerpoing at them by saying not being loving or judgmental.

First of all-What is love?
God is love.
Do all humans love?
I don't know. I know that most do, but some people, like, say Ted Bundy, I did wonder if he had love at all. Maybe his love was dead, or deeply buried.

Jesus greatest commandment was love:
Love God
Love your neighbor
Love your enemies
Love one another.

I don't believe that love is the same as acceptance. You can love someone with your whole heart and not accept what he/she does.
Like, for instance, you have a brother who is an alcoholic and a drug addict, you love your brother, but not what he is doing.
Or maybe your sister belongs to a Pagan religion, you love your sister, but not what she does.

This world nowadays has told a lie: That if you love someone you will accept him/her. As I stated above that is not true. We live in this world, but we have to remain separate from it as Jesus commands.

Love is very complicated and can be shown in many ways. If we have God in us He will teach us how to love. More we love God more we can show His love. Love is sacrificial, so if we are not wholehearted Christian we cannot show much love. What is wholehearted devotion? That is another topic.
