Love is never having to say you're sorry.

The majority of Christians know nothing about the Cross of Christ for sanctification. All they have in their mind is, "I have to do something." Satan has been the master of deception by deceiving the Christian population into moving them away from the Cross to something else.

K2CHRIST you are preaching "LAW"...however, you mean well.

I don't think the law is what's being applied here, nor law verses grace. I think this is something that is about how K2CHRIST has been able to apply and practice his faith in the cross, and in the teachings and example of Jesus. He's also I think trying to give a strong encouragement for others to do the same.

With so much theology, philosophy, and perspectives about right thought, right beliefs, and right way of thinking, there's a whole lot of confusion in the swim of Christianity. Honestly I really think examples of practical application applications of our faith is something encouraging and grounding us too. If the application doesn't seem to be something we can do, then that's also kind of grounding in the fact that it can be attempted and then left alone because afterword you know something was wrong. A lot of theology doesn't have that solid ground to build off of. If a person is wrong, it likely won't be so easy to catch and realize. And when it's right, there's often an easy way for doubt to creep in to let a person be unsure.

That said I think your right about the sanctification of the cross. No matter what we do, or how we strengthen ourselves and others, we have to keep in mine that we are right by God through the cross, and through Jesus.

Faith works through Love, they can't be separated - Galatians 5:6 NKJV. Love without faith is "Law". In other words, to forgive without faith and love you works are dead. James 2:14-26 NKJV - 1 Timothy 1:5 NIV

This is why a Believers Faith must be maintain exclusively in Christ and the Cross.

I must admit that your post has left me a little bit confused. Why/how is K2CHRIST preaching law?

Correct me if I am wrong but I take your quote "the cross of Christ for sanctification" to mean positional sanctification that is we have been made holy, set apart to God as a result of placing our trust in Jesus when he died on that cross, when he said "It is finished"

I do feel though that having believed we do have to do something. We have to become more Christ like. Yes we have been made holy, set apart but we do still sin, get it wrong. So we need to grow into the sanctification that we have been given.

I'm not saying we can add anything to what Jesus has accomplished or done for us in order to save us and the truth is if we do so then we have not understood what happened on the cross.

I'm sorry if I have misunderstood your post

For whatsoever is not of faith is sin. If a Believers faith is not maintained exclusively in Christ and the Cross it is sin and places you under the law which is a curse. Many Believers are in the default position by trying to earn righteousness by law. God only awards righteousness by maintaining faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished work. Either a Believer is in Grace or Law. A Believer is placed under the dispensation of Grace if faith is exclusively maintained in Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. It is not automatic! Romans 4:16 NKJV

16 So people get what God promised by having faith. This happens so that the promise can be a free gift. And if the promise is a free gift, then all of Abraham’s people will get that promise. The promise is not just for those who live under the Law of Moses. It is for all who live with faith as Abraham did. He is the father of us all. Romans 4:16 ERV

To walk in the spirit means to maintain faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. This allow the Holy Spirit latitude to work and help us. The Holy Spirit only works in the life of a Believer in the parameter of Christ and His Finished Work (Romans 8:1-2). The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2) is the highest law of all. The Holy Spirit keeps all of the commandments for us. You are guaranteed failure if you try to live for God in your on will power, strength, and performance. The only solution for sin, the only answer to sin, is the Cross of Christ.

How does a Believer maintain faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross? By just believing in Jesus and what He accomplished at Calvary Cross. Romans 4:5 - Galatians 2:19-21 NKJV - 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 NKJV - Colossians 2:11-15 NKJV

When faith is not maintain in Christ and the Cross the Believer enters the flesh, i.e., The Law - the curse. Romans 8:1 - Galatians 5:16-26

I tried to start a forum called "What happen from the cross to the throne?" It was locked before the first post...People need truth!

Ok, but I really don't see where this topic removes a person's faith. It doesn't seem to me to be about earning anything, or to work for a healing through a ritual or something. If that was the case I could see where you're coming from.

If you wanted to encourage K2CHRIST to remain in his depedance of faith and not get focused on the miracles, I'd understand that too. Because sometimes there are aspects of our faith that if they are the focus, they become a distraction away from Jesus. That can occur with even responsibilities in the church becoming a distraction instead of a form of dedication. Not that being in a service at a church is bad. But that a reminder to keep Jesus the focus. That would be all.

It doesn't seem to me to be an issue of the law, or the different issues around the law, like works verses grace, obediance and following Jesus's example and teachings, or any other way that the term law seems applicable.

Please explain how the subject matter is about the law. Otherwise what you've said just doesn't make sense to justify or even come to a dissussion about.

Really?

Because of the cross, you can have forgiveness of sins. But you still have to believe in the Lord. If you believe in the Lord you will listen to Him talking to you. If you have been listening to Him and His teachings you will know He wants us to do what is right. We aren't saved because of it, but He still wants you doing what is right. He reproves those He loves, which means He is going to point out to you ways to do things better. Your salvation might not depend upon it, but your relationship with Him will be making changes in your life. If you didn't already you will start to care for people more. You will start to be like Wrg1405, who wrote:

I love my wife, my kids, my friends enough to say I'm sorry when I get it wrong.

I love my wife, my kids and my friends enough to try to never get it wrong.

By the way, it is not knowing about the Cross of Christ but about knowing Jesus Christ. So it also is not about "moving them away form the Cross" but about moving them towards Jesus Christ. Him taking on flesh and going to the cross was to make it possible for us to know God through Him who is One with God. Jesus explain His sheep would hear His voice. That they need to do. He can explain the cross if they listen to Him. But knowing about the cross does not mean you know Him. If we know Him we will point people to Him. You might want to tell people about how He took on flesh and became the sacrifice, but that is to encourage them to seek Him!

Otherwise what you've said just doesn't make sense to justify or even come to a dissussion about.
Pray and ask the LORD for help to understand His Word.
By the way, it is not knowing about the Cross of Christ but about knowing Jesus Christ.
The Cross of Christ is the Power of God! Not knowing about the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus means you are disconnected from the Cross. You have fallen from grace and now in law. Do you know what SPIRITUAL ADULTRY is?. I have prayed for both of you, and when you return strengthen your Brothers.
