Are you in love with someone?
Your spouse or close friend?
Are you looking to fall in love with someone?
I read an interesting article that gives us some ideas of how to understand love.
If seems as though science hasn't figured out love yet, but they are working on it.
They feel at this time it is more of a chemical reaction in the body than anything else.
I would say that is just stage one.
Love is a behavioral addiction, we get addicted to someone because of the return we get.
It seems to be a natural occurrence we cannot fight.
Some thoughts of love is detecting body movement and seeing if it contains signs of love.
Love is found in the voice, the tone and the change in frequency.
And love is found in the words and statements one would say.
Science has found love to fall into three categories.
1. Lust
The body reacts to changes in their hormones, estrogen and testosterone.
2. Attraction
Again, chemicals in the body react to another person with adrenaline, dopamine, and serotonin.
3. Attachment
Oxytocin is known as the "cuddle hormone" and vesopressin.
I don't know what it all means, but science is catching up.
Someday they'll be making artificial people that are chemically perfect for us.
Oh my, what a thought.
But I'm sure there is more to love than breaking down the chemical reactions.
You got any ideas?
