Luke 1:42-45
King James Version (KJV)
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Luke 1:42-45
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
42 And she cried out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me? 44 For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy. 45 And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.”

42 We should speak the truth so people can hear us do not be quiet when sharing the gospel because may be offended by it, those that are offended by God’s word needs to hear it the most. Mary was special because she was chosen to give birth to the Lord and raise Him. No greater birth happened than the birth of Christ.
43 She felt blessed because Mary came to her. Mary was a woman like any other but she was chosen by God for every important purpose and this made her special. She was made special by God and we are as well. Christ being in Mary’s womb made her special and Him being in our hearts makes us special. We are special this was proven when He died for us.
44 The baby John had the Spirit in him from even before birth, the Spirit moved John to jump in her womb. John would prepare the people for Christ.
45 Elizabeth believed in the message Mary had been given and knew by faith that she would bring the Lord to this earth. Her faith may have helped Mary by encouragement. Mary’s pregnancy would not be easy because Joseph would rethink marrying her due to her being pregnant, he would marry her though but times would be rough for a unmarried pregnant women but words from the angel and the words Elizabeth would speak may have gave Mary what she needed to do the job God had called her to do. We as Christians today need to find our Elizabeth for times we struggle to encourage us and point us back to God’s plan.
