Luke 3:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Luke 3:4-6 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

4 as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah:
A voice of one crying out in the wilderness:
Prepare the way for the Lord;
make His paths straight!5 Every valley will be filled,
and every mountain and hill will be made low;
the crooked will become straight,
the rough ways smooth,6 and everyonewill see the salvation of God.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

4 The Spirit would give John the Baptist his words but he was the one that the Lord would use. John had a very special role, it was to make the people ready to hear what Jesus had to say, John may have not even be ready for Jesus would do and who He would be. A couple of John’s disciples would become Jesus’ first disciples, including Andrew.

5 Jesus made the way no longer would people not know what to do to be saved but would know it was not by sacrifices but by His sacrifice for us that we are saved not us sacrificing to Him.

6 Jesus is God’s salvation. Jesus means the Lord’s salvation but because we are saved by Him it is more than just another name given but is a chose we have to make.

A good word my friend.
