36 The Lord has power of over anything, Jesus is Lord. His word was authority it was by His word that the world was created. It is by His Word that we are saved. God’s word should not bring us amazement in a bad way but in a way we His works continue to amaze us what He can do, often times this involves Him using us for things we could never think of us doing, things we could never do without Him.

37 News about Jesus spread, we should keep spreading this news today, we are to share the gospel.

Brother Clark, I like your thinking on this, and I will add that I believe the things He adds to us as part of His ongoing work in us builds us up to having His very best for eternity. I for one see a path set before us to not only being heirs of God which all believers are, but having the opportunity of becoming joint heirs with Christ IF so be we suffer (endure) with Him (Rom 8:17), and 2 Tim 2:12 If we suffer (endure), we shall also reign with him . .

There are different qualities of the will of God such as we read of in
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jesus was just past the folks of His hometown trying to short circuit God's plan of Redemption and having left there, Jesus is, indeed teaching as you say.

We need to get past the part about being amazed as just sharing the gospel is a small part of what the Word in us should be doing. It's a good start to grasp the understanding the Word is all authority, and the Word should be first place. That is a great revelation, and many need to wake up, stop the crying and stop the asking for prayer constantly, open their bible and find out what the Lord said about their situation. Many don't understand the Word contains the answer, and it actually takes time to seek and believe as the Word is sown in and measured back to us in greater measure. (Mark 4)

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
(Mar 16:15-20)

A whole lot of folks just teach the part about sharing the Gospel, and to their own stupidity and hurt, forget Jesus kept speaking about what the Word will do for people in bondage.

I found this guy just looking on Youtube. It's how it works, and how to get peoples attention.

A big chunk of so called "Believers" treat the Word of some theological book to be broken down with Hermeneutics and mans reasoning. It is not the power of God to change anything in someones life, or to be believed. Telling a believer to meditate on God's Word saying I did not give you the spirit of fear, but of peace, power and SOUND MIND does not seem worth the time to cure mental illness, but I have seen that scripture come to pass in a few lives of those that did meditate on that one scripture, and cured.
To them, that is not their answer, their answer is to constantly ask people to pray for them, and jump hoops for them, feeling sorry for them. Not them finding out what God said about it.

Another chunk of believers do not bring Jesus to the person. They bring literature to the people. The World does not care about going to hell, it's not on their mind, but hurting, not getting their bills paid on time, and having their life a mess is on their mind. We need to bring that Jesus to them, not the Jesus loves you pamphlet.

When I witness to a unbeliever, I just ask. If God where real what would you ask him, what do you need help with in your body right now. How are the kids, they sick? We have to act as if Jesus is right there with us, and Tom Fischer in the video I posted does this.

The power to witness as Tom in the video is in the potential of every believer. We are all not called to do what Tom does, but that don't mean the power is not there.

We don't have to continue lacking faith, it starts by watching others like Tom in the video, and asking ourselves how can I get to that place, and get help from God to be all we are suppose to be.

One reason I am against the thought we are some poor sinners saved by grace, worms in the dirt. We are the Children of God, and the Kingdom of God is in us with all power and authority through Christ Jesus. That should get someone excited.

I agree but then, that has a lot to do with clearing out the Grumpy Old Men's Class when I took the tiller there. I did not use the Baptist Quarterly and that was alright because the quarterly was a Teacher's Option and the Paster, also took his sermons and his Class Lessons from the original Text and all I was required to do was to give him a copy of my lesson plan so he was sure I was not outside the pail of Biblical Orthodoxy.

I had, long before been labeled "one of those Charismatic Musician Freaks." When I began teaching that every man, woman and teenager could live a Holy Life, a life separated to and exclusively for God, it emptied the room except for me, one Deacon and an Evangelist.

People do not want to know, actually know what God has to say and actually wants from us. The first time I was asked to lay hands on and to pray for a woman's cancer, I was a very new Christian and I did not know we were not supposed to boldly ask God to prove Himself but, like God, He did and tickled the Devil, right, out of me and the Catholic lady I layed hands on and prayed for.

(footnote; She gave up being a Catholic, became a Christian, attending Baptist and Pentecostal Church Services.)

When we hush Satan's voice and believe we will step out in faith and we will have more excitement than we ever thought possible and all we will be doing is allowing God to use us in His, not our, service.
