Lust of the Flesh - Rich or Poor

It is interesting that Jesus, who is God become man, said that the poor will always be with you (Matthew 26:11, Mark 14:7). So here you have God on earth in the person of Jesus Christ declaring that God will not join anyone in their belief that poverty will be eradicated down here on earth (hint: no economic justice).

In fact, when God, again in the person of Jesus Christ, told the rich ruler to sell everything he had and give it to the poor, Christ then said to the rich ruler to follow him (Matthew 19:16-30, Mark 10:17-31, Luke 18:18-30). Jesus didn't tell the rich ruler to give to the poor and then go join them in their poverty. Jesus told the rich ruler to instead follow him!

There is an assumed notion that Jesus wants all Christians to impoverish themselves just to appeal to the poor in order to stir their faith in God. This would make Christians the hero to the poor, not God. Impoverishing ourselves is just another form of conceit and pride. Christians are to give to the poor but not to participate in their sinful living (hint: drugs, sexual promiscuity, riots, laziness, etc.).

Even the poor need to be rebuked into forsaking their own immorality while being led to a belief in Jesus Christ! Jesus doesn't want anyone to follow the lusts of their flesh in seeking God whether they be rich or poor!

Poverty or wealth does not establish righteousness in anyone. Righteousness comes only through a belief in Jesus Christ!

Another significant saying of Jesus Christ is that we will always have wars and rumors of war (Matthew 24:6 , Mark 13:7). Once again God, as Jesus Christ, is saying that God will not join us in our belief that war will be eradicated down here on earth. Just like with poverty, war or peace does not establish righteousness in anyone. Righteousness comes only through a belief in Jesus Christ!

The Antichrist will one day convince the world that poverty and war can be eradicated down here on earth.

God did not send Moses to the Israelites to have him join them in their captivity. But God sent Moses to the Israelites to lead them allOUTof captivity. God did not want Moses to be the hero of the Israelites but to lead them all into the desert where God was waiting for them to lead them to the promised land as a pillar of fire and a pillar of cloud (hint: pillar of fire and pillar of cloud is the spirit of Jesus Christ).

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and then follow Jesus who will lead us all into eternity (hint: the promised land) with God the Father, God the son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit in heaven forever.

God Bless
note:

It is interesting that the beast and the Antichrist (hint: read the Book of Revelation - you'll receive a special blessing) are indicative of the pillar of fire and the pillar of cloud. But the Antichrist and beast will lead everyone into the promised land of damnation when everyone will willingly receive the mark of 666 during the Great Tribulation.

There is an assumed notion that Jesus wants all Christians to impoverish themselves just to appeal to the poor in order to stir their faith in God.
Who assumes that? Who teaches that?
Christians are to give to the poor but not to participate in their sinful living (hint: drugs, sexual promiscuity, riots, laziness, etc.).
The poor do not have a monopoly on "drugs, sexual promiscuity, riots, laziness, etc."
