He is risen indeed! (Well, pretty soon anyway).

THE COVER WAS A ROLLIN STONE
Matthew 28: 2
A parody of “The Cover of the a Rolling Stoneâ€
Verse- 1
It was a huge humdinger, took a truck to bring 'er, and if shoved it barely would go.
The thing was a beauty, but the thing was uncouth. At two thousand pounds or so.
The view inside it kills because the door it fills and the truth might not be known.
But He's gone you betcha and a look you'll getcha, 'Cause the cover was a rollin’ stone.
Chorus
Rollin stone
For the Savior's tomb it was a cover.
Stone
Peter, John and Mary, (not his mother)
Stone
Saw he rose up from that place 'Cause the cover was a rollin’ stone.
Verse 2
How could they get inside—, matey, 'cause the stone was weighty? It was heavy, hard and mean!
And don't forget those ornery soldier boys, a-standing there in between!
But the troops resigned and they did not find any need to grunt or groan.
Didn't need to heave ho it, it was gone, we know it.
'Cause the cover was a rollin’ stone. (Chorus)
Verse 3
Well, they were curious and snoopy so they got down stoopy, for to gape in the tomb that day.
They got a genuine looking in preview, showin' that he got away.
They went and told their friends. You know they couldn't deny the amazing things that they were shown.
When the angel, he hitched 'er then he hauled and he pitched 'er ‘cause the cover was a rollin’ stone. (Chorus)
Verse 4
Well, now you say you get your kicks playing hot and heavy licks and it's brought you money, "love" and fame,
But you still got a hole in the bottom of your soul. It's a dirty, rotten, crying, shame.
Well , is there some one to free ya from this vicious tyranny ya know has ggot you feeling lost and lone.
Let the Lord Jesus reach ya through the things he can teach ya.
from a different kind of rollin’ stone. (Chorus)

WELCOME BACK JESUS
Acts 2:23-24
A parody of *Welcome back Cotter*
Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back! Welcome back Welcome back.
Verse 1
Welcome back, it seems you were check-in' out.
Welcome back, from your rest-ing place, ‘cause, with-out a doubt,
well, their aims were a shame, when they cut you down,
but the schemes have been changed and your back in town,
‘cause death could not impede ya.
The Father has freed ya.
And he won’t be forgot; he's not forgot. He was dead. Now he's not, Welcome back.
Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back! Welcome back Welcome back.
Verse 2
Welcome back. The hall-ways of death now end.
Welcome back. For a while hope was lost. Now we just depend,
that there’s no fu-ure scene death’s re-turn-in’ in.
‘And there’s no sting at all, now, to death or sin,
‘cause death could not impede ya.
The Father has freed ya.
Well now he's not for-got. He was dead. Now he's not, Welcome back.
Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back! Welcome back Welcome back.
Verse 3
These’s no doubt, a teacher can do some good.
N’even more, one who comes back to their old neighborhood.
But as great of a come back like that may be,
there’s a far greater "come back" for you and me.
Now death can-not impede us.
‘Cause Jesus has freed us.
Well now he's not forgot. He was dead.
Now now he's not, Welcome back.
Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back! Welcome back Welcome back.

The Resurrection Alleluia March
to the tune of *Stars and Stripes Forever by John Phillip Sousa
Jesus is risen, he’s risen from the dead!
A thing was done on Easter day that never happened anywhere before
When Jesus rose up from the grave and kicked to flinders death*s dark door.
And so we raise the vict’ry cry up, “Christ is risen! Christ is risen!â€
He’s the resurrection; he’s the life! It’s truly so! (Repeat this whole section if you wish)
Long ago in the town of Bethlehem Jesus came as God*s son to save us.
And he rose from the grave, not to condemn, but salvation and eternal life he gave us. (repeat if you got nothing better to do)
Christ Jesus is back from the dead.
And he lives and he reigns yea.forever.
And now of the church he is head.
So we lift up our cry of alleluia.
He’s our star! By his stripes we are healed.
So go tell everyone what he means to ya.
God’s son, by his rising revealed.
And for good measure throw in one more alleluia. (repeat? whatever)
Come along and join us in a joyful alleluia
Alleluia he is up!
Come along and join us in a joyful alleluìia
He has drained death*s bitter cup.
He was crucified! He died, but now he*s risen and he goes before us.
*Where, O death, your sting,* we sing, so come along and join us in the chorus.
Come along and join the alleluia!
Come along and join the alleluia!
Come along and join the alleluia! From death*s prison he is risen for
Christ Jesus is back from the dead.
And he lives and he reigns yea forever.
And now of the church he is head.
So we lift up our cry of alleluia.
He’s our star! By his stripes we are healed.
So go tell everyone what he means to ya.
God’s son, by his rising revealed.
And for good measure throw in one more alleluia.
