The Lord woke me up in the middle of the night last night to make a revelation to me. A true definition of faith and how to make it work. Now some of you Brothers and Sisters will already know this, but I needed it and it was good.
It's easy to confess faith. But I can't uproot trees and make them fly into the ocean. I've tried. It didn't work. I probably wont try that again, unless led to. But...the difference between feigned faith and faith that moves, and uproots trees or heals people is...fervency and earnestness. It's right there in scripture too.
What is fervency? Earnestness? Well it is not deadpan. It is when your spirit wells up inside of you...you tear up...your heart aches within you. It's the mother in the aftermath of an auto accident and she's looking at her child pinned under the car...she cries out to God in her heart, and lifts the car off her child by herself.
That's when faith moves, and God comes to help. She didn't lift the car, He did. But it was her fervent prayer.
It's like a light bulb came on in my head. The Lord impressed upon me that He does like to work with you deadpan. That you be fervent yet emotionally stable. And when you pray, of course believe...but EXPECT to get results, and then whatsoever ye ask of Him you shall receive. (if it's not outside the Lords will)
EXPECT RESULTS.
