Indiana vs. Detroit

For any of you novice NBA fans out there, this is a series that is a must see. Not for the fights (I don't expect any this time), but for great basketball. Tough to score, good defense, great hustle. It's going to be a great series.

I give the edge to Detroit, but indiana is tough, and they beat a good Boston team that was on a roll, so they can easily win this thing.

I personally love the games that are 80 to 72. It's the games where the two teams just trade baskets with no defense that I can't watch.

If Miami was not in the future of the playoff mix, i'd say that Indiana vs. Detroit is best series to watch in 2005.

I'm definitely going to watch this match-up! Totally agree with you, it's going to be exciting and good basketball. I hope Indy can win it, then I'll have an easy choice in the EC finals...lol

Tonight is the night. LLLLLEEEEEETS get reeeeeeady to rumblllllllle! LOL

Are you an Indiana fan, McQuacks?

I'm a Cav's fan, but I still like good basketball.

Hey Dave,
I've actually never considered myself an Indiana fan, but I like the play of Reggie, so I'm going with them. Detroit's also got a history with the Nets (one of my teams ;) ) so I find it hard to root for them. :-? Hehe. Can't approve of what some of the Indy guys did on the court (and off of it) in the brawl, but I really enjoy watching Miller play. I think he deserves to go pretty far seeing that he's in his last year. He's also very devoted to his state and team, which is a rare thing in the NBA today.

I'm happy to see that they're up 2-1! This next game is really important for them. Wouldn't it be great if they can go up 3-1?

2-2, but I expected this. I felt that Indiana needed to win one on the road because I expected Detroit to do the same. O'Neill is struggling with his jump shot, which is really hurting Indiana. This should be a good finish. It's going to be up to Reggie to get Indiana over Detroit. He's been struggling himself. I noticed his shooting gets better later in the game. Maybe he should hold off in taking shots until the last quarter?

I'm surprised that Dallas is taking it to the Suns.

Yeah, O'Neal is really off. I don't know whether it's the Detroit D or an injury, but he's not playing that well at all. If they want to beat this team he's going to need to step up too. Reggie's been a little off too. I don't expect them to continue this way though, I think it could definitely go to seven games...

Yeah, Dallas is surprising! I expect the Suns to bounce back though. Although I'm not sure how far they'll be able to go with their defense the way that it is.

Indiana may be done. Without Artest, and with all the injuries, I can't see them winning the last two. But who knows, anything is possible. :)
