It's very controversial. Expensive and really not necessary. But it's beautiful, and the neighborhood behind the POV, is resurging, cleaning up, and becoming a nice place to be. The bridge from where I'm shooting was closed to traffic, and turned into a nice little park where people bring their kids on weekends.

Maybe not such a bad thing.

ok so its a bridge to no where. we have one here. I was wondering what the suspension bridge was crossing.

Strangely enough, the "nowhere" has become somewhere. A new commercial/restaurant district is forming now. And in a formerly run-down neighborhood, there's a nice park for people to take their kids. Looks as though it was a good idea after all.

yes, I noticed. ours is nothing like that. I cant show ours from a ground level. I would have to drive to it and take a pic to do that. if the road under is open. they had it blocked off, as north of it they were , ironically, replacing two other bridges.

In Dallas, there has to be some money in it somewhere, or it doesn't get done.
I wish it wasn't the case here but I have known one man to die at a certain intersection an others are seriously injured but the rich man's death is what changed it all. they put in a light. and trimmed trees. funny how that happens
