That's a problem with Internet Explorer. Try fire fox or any other browser or an older version of Internet Explorer.

Get rid of IE altogether. It is nothing but a leaky bucket that hackers use to their advantage. In plain terms, it can do more harm than good and could leave your PC infested with spyware and viruses. It's like leaving your door unlocked, whether you are home or not. :shocked!

I do not think the back button is an IE thing. I think it's generally a network setting or a cookies setting. Before I moved a month o so back, the back button work fine on my network with the settings I have now so I know it wasn't cookies or IE. I still have IE as well because firefox does not cooperate with my antivirus. I may try firefox again in the future when this latest AV subscription ends, but I do know the issue is not with the site or IE.

Off topic.

Tim, what AV app are you using? This sounds rather odd. :confused It may actually be a flawed antivirus program and not Firefox at all. Firefox, by not working as it should, may be revealing this flaw.

This is just an analogy concerning IE, but would anyone use a condom knowing it had a hole or holes in it?

I use Panda Titanium, which was the best around 2 years ago, but it did not cooperate with firefox and IE has never given me issues. Even with whatever glitch has been going on with the back button, I know it's not an IE thing.

is there any thing in the works to get this feature back up and running?

Greghead has been, and I believe still is, out of town for the holidays.
