Hello everyone,
For those of you who know me on this board, I wanted to make a general announcement that I was recently married. Many of you know that I was widowed a few years ago, and have seen through some of my posts how God has been merciful to me, and my three young children. I am so thankful for His mercy, and comfort. I can not really speak of the fullness in my heart concerning God's sustaining love during this time in our family's life. I still have waves of grief concerning my late husband, who left our bond to join Christ, but it's swells are not as great as they once were.
I am learning now how God restores, and it is a beautiful blessing. God's restoration comes as a sweet balm after being so worn, and exposed, to the trial of being widowed. I now understand the widow's plight, and that of orphans, and can see why God has set them before Christians to be given mercy.
Presently, I am newly married, and am humbled by God's generosity to me. Michael is truly a gift to me, and our children. I know that he feels the same about us. I was friends with him for some time, and that friendship bloomed into an engagement last Fall. The wedding was simple, and lovely. I just wanted to share with you all this happy news, and ask that you say a prayer of thanks and praise to Him on our behalf, and that you hold our family up as we walk after Christ together. The Lord bless you all.
