Marxist scientists and the Higgs Boson non-sense.

Thanks. Not all Christians are anti-science/anti-intellectual. I am a physician/scientist in training. Personally, I do not see any contradiction between being a Christianity and science. Both sides of the camp speak as if there were separate biological/physical evidences either for or against God, but really, there aren't separate sets of evidence. It is merely our interpretation of that evidence that differs. I think even the most hard-pressed skeptic would agree that one's pre-existing worldview will shape how they interpret the evidence. My worldview is based on Scripture and my belief in God, and as Louis Pasteur said, "The more I study nature, the more in awe I stand of the Creator."

Just because lasers emit light, or transistors conductivity changes, doesn't prove photons or bosons exist. We don't really know how things work on the atomic level, it's all guessing. We have our little model, but there could be a million models we never thought of. Light emits from a laser at a specific wavelength, because the atoms are so defined in structure, in a crystal, the waves propogate perfectly through matter. the idea that they are absorbing quanities of energy, and re-emitting them, as photons is not provable, it is theoretical.
