MATH TRICK

Grab a calculator… you won’t want to do this in your head. (But you can try if you life ... your choice!

(Caution: This works only with a 7-digit phone number)

1. Key in the first 3 digits of your phonenumber. (NOT the area code)

2. Multiply by 80.

3. Add 1.

4. Multiply by 250.

5. Add to this the last 4 digits of your phone number.

6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone numberagain.

7. Subtract 250.

8. Divide number by 2.

Do you recognize the answer?

Isn't that amazing, tho?

Just think .... someone actually spent time working up those calculations.

It works because it manages to fool you into multiplying your NXX (exchange number) by 10,000, then adds in your last four digits. Of course that's going to give you your own phone number.

Think about it.

It's still amazing to me. How it works is over my head. :-)

It's just one of those cool Math tricks ... good fun!

I second that opinion, Speculative. Just plain ol' pretty cool!
