No wonder the world doesn't take "Christians" seriously. Its people like Harold Camping preaching that the end of the world is May 22, 2011 thaty helps portray Christians as being flaky.

OH JUST GREAT!!!! Me and the wife had plans for pizza on Dec. 20 2012! Now we have to come up with something to do tonight. Maybe a family dinner with the in-laws. HA! A little penitence before we go!

Ahh another christian man saying gays are the end of the world... You know I wish I was a dangerous as certain christians make me out to be lol.

Actually, what he's been teaching is that May 21st. is Judgement Day (6PM) and according to his calculations, based on Rev 9:5, it ends in October. :bigfrown
 
You know, most everybody thinks this is stupid.
However, if he keeps saying it happens tomorrow, everyday for forever;
And if you believe in the Rapture,
Then someday he will be correct.

haha, well technically no because whether they believe in the rapture or not, if it doesnt happen then he cant be correct someday,but the end could still come.
Might be correct about the end, but he cannot be correct in the "rapture".

What? I type in good fun. I'm a pre trib myself but no man knows the hour. It could happen tomorrow or in 500 years. It's not my place to know. All I know is that my wife and I are ready.

I'm going to organize a post-Rapture looting party.
There should be lots of useful goodies left behind for those who are quick enough to nab them:thumbsup.

Just kidding of course.;)

Um, does anyone else wonder why/how Harold Camping and his followers are disregarding that bit of scripture that states how no man, or even the Angels, will be able to predict the day/hour of The Rapture? I think that this man is getting waaaay too much national publicity, even if it is just to point out his mistaken beliefs.

I would like to know what God is doing in this to bring glory to Him, im just curious to know what the fruits of this will be, which i believe fully there is, I probably wont personally be able to see it, but i hope i get to 8)

I think the most immediate fruit would be questions. This is drumming up a lot of publicity. I think there are a lot of non believers that are going to have questions for us come Sunday. If we can figure out how to bridge this into a compelling argument I think we may be able to see that fruit you're speaking of.
