The recurring vision began 500 feet above sea-level in North Wales ..
not far from the gorgeous coastal drive that inspired my lyric, "All The Wonders of the Universe" ..

I saw groups of vans - full of enthusiastic young folk - leaving busy, bustling cities & towns ..
to go bless neglected-feeling rural folk
Each van had MCMC logo ..
Mercy County Miracle Community
Can also mean...
Mercy City Miracle Community ..
Mercy Country Miracle Community ..
Mercy Continent Miracle Community ..
Mercy Cosmos Miracle Community ..
But to stick with the original, God said that there's a part of Acts 1:8 that most folk omit - from both their thinking & their action ..
Acts 1:8 (New International Version)
8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
It's the regional dimension
How many towns, worldwide, are at odds with their nearest neighbouring towns?
Bitter feuds, lasting many generations
Even within almost any city, are there not fierce hatreds between different areas that either envy or fear each other?
& the main thought that hit me when I first had that vision ..
Worldwide, 'townies' tend to look down on & despise their 'local yokels'
& rural folk feel despised & neglected
God said, very strongly, each time He gave me that vision, that the purpose of the cross was not just the Day of Atonement that we celebrate on 2 Oct - back to link ..

The Bible says that Jesus broke down the walls of partition - between old & young, male & female, rich & poor, slave & free - to make us 'all one in Christ '- 'a new man'
'How good & pleasant it is when brothers (& sisters!) dwell together in unity'
I'll never forget the first 2/3 times I went to Pentecostal churches: each time, in God's timing, the message was from Acts 2
Not one of them mentioned how the early disciples sold land/houses etc & 'had all things in common, so that none was in need & none had too much'
Many have bemoaned 'Holy-huddle bless-me clubs'
English translations miss the rich subtlety of the original Hebrew & Greek of the Bible: many of the "you" words are plural, not singular
Again, as a Pentecostal for @ 26 years now, I've heard many, many preachers talk @ the gifts of the Holy Spirit - (1 Corinthians 12 etc)
I can count on one hand the messages that have stressed the priority/purpose aspect of 'earnestly desire the highest gifts that edify the Body of Christ'
As 'ambassadors for Christ', God entrusts us with 'the ministry of reconciliation'
'This is My command: love one another..then the world will know that you are indeed My disciples'
Together for Harvest - http://www.tfh.org.uk - meet for county-wide prayer & praise at Wirral Christian Centre - home of Elim's UK Evangelism Director, Paul Epton - see http://www.wccuk.org - @ 7.30
I only have 29 minutes before I must leave, to prepare myself by catching 3pm 'Wagner Leaders Institute' & 5pm 'Pamela's Prayer'
Can't recall channel, so I'll link Christian TV ..
