Photoshopped of my artist's concept of the effect the resurrection will have on our bodies (going by the description of Jesus in Revelation).

1 John 3:2 (KJV)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Revelation 1:12-15 (KJV)
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

My wife (then fiance) set up a professional shoot in a Park Ave NYC studio for me in the days when I thought I was going to take Broadway by storm. The photographer did display my head shots in his widow on Park Ave. for some time. An old ego trip that I was broken of by the Lord a long time ago.

True. The DDG designation gives it away to navy veterans that his ship was an Adams class guided missile destroyer.

My stab at political satire at the end of the last Bush administration...

Bear in mind that "ass" in in the Bible (Genesis 22 KJV)...

some aren't navy and might not know that he was on a frigate or a destroyer.

First American ship to sail with NATO (originally the USS Biddle) Renamed USS Claude V. Ricketts when Admiral Ricketts (who was the biggest backer of the creation of NATO) passed away. She was a good ship and survived many a stormy seas (including one I was aboard when she too a 52 degree roll to port. Very scary when the bulkheads (walls) become like the decks under your feet.

Different Navy in those days. I never got to see her but she was still active duty when I was in the NAV. The USS Longbeach first nuke cruiser

Love this one of the Enterprise (still with the dome which was removed to make her less distinctive in appearance to foreign navies) and that is the Long beach in company with the BIG E (first nuke carrier). I had an 1st Class (LPO) signalman who served aboard the Big E.

The furthest outboard ship was the USS Bainbridge (which I had to look up).

Me at 19 playing my first (and now only) guitar which my beloved bought me for the first of two NATO cruises (the first 10 months of our marriage)...
