Mean Girls

Loved it!!!

Lindsey Lohan is great. She is this HS Junior who was homeschooled because her parents were zoologists in Africa. She starts to challenge the "mean girls" who rule the school but becomes one of them! it's a great example of our tendency to do wrong things for personal gain.

Other than short skirts and rough language and a teacher's taking her top off in class after getting it wet, there's not a lot of sexual content and I can see moral lessons in teens seeing it, though I am sure some conservative parents will wince about such things as teens partying at a house where the parents are gone and the rude language in "the burn book" where the mean girls write bad things about others.

I agree, this is a really good movie. It's funny throughout, but does have a good message to get across. I also thought it was surprisingly realistic for this genre of movie. The mean girls weren't as caricatured as they could have been and seemed like they could have been genuine high school girls.

This movie was so funny! I loved it! I'm not much of a "comedy" movie seeker, but this one was good and had a pretty good message.

I liked this movie also. Some of it was very unexpected and had a few good scenes. I also like the SNL cast.

Loved it. When I saw the billing I assumed it was another one of those Clueless-type American teen crappy films. I was persuaded to see it by a couple of friends, and my presupposition has been officially overruled. I thought it was very funny and atypical, which is something I like.

We rented this movie last night.
The girl came to school with a pretty good head on her shoulders, but after awhile she was acting like an idiot.
Although it tried to bring everything back into right perspective at the end, it usually doesn't happen that way in highschool.
The biggest lesson i got out of it was homeschooling is the better alternative.....if thats reality!
The gay guy was actually my favorite character.
