Let's play a game!

Real simple, ask the member posting above you a question, and that member will answer. Doesn't matter what the question is about, it can be silly, serious, short, long, secular or Biblical.

Rules are simple too, no debating, no ultra personal questions.

I'll start by asking a question for the next person to answer... then game on.

What's your favorite hobby?

(You answer, then ask me a question. The following poster will ask YOU a question, and the cycle continues.)

Reba, it is DEFINITELY the VW Campervan.

reba, you forgot to ask a question.

What's your most embarrassing moment?
In middle school, one of the teachers wouldn't let me use the restroom. This was a new school for me too which makes this so much worse. So once class was over, I ran to the restroom and started to do my business before I hit the seat. Then, lo and behold, there was no toilet paper in the stall. I had to clean up with my underwear and a sheet out of my student planner. Right after that it was time to go home, so I had to ride the bus home smelling like doo doo, because some of it had gotten in my pants before I could use the restroom. It was 6th grade. -_-

What's yours? I like this question. lol

That's the worst age, too!

I was shortstop for a baseball team, I had gotten a few grounders and was all thinking I was all that, we had just gotten the 3rd out and running back into the dugout and I tripped over the pitcher's mound and fell right on my face, that wasn't too bad but when we went back out, I did it again. lol

When you were a kid, what was the worst trouble you got into - what did you do?

Ouch... a double whammy.

When I was a kid me and two buddies (we were only in grade school) thought it'd be a good idea to break into the school house. We didn't want to steal anything, we just wanted to roam around. Some neighbors called the police on us. I didn't get in trouble with the law but Grandpa and Mom sure wouldn't happy...

How old were you when you began to take Jesus seriously?

I think those early interventions with the law helps us stay on the straight and narrow.

I was about 8 when I started taking Jesus seriously. I was abused by my dad and at night God would "hold me", (hard to explain) it was the only place I felt secure and safe, He really is our refuge.

King David. I find him to be romantic... He was a musician, a poet, powerful as a king, and a good friend (to Jonathan.)
I think I will blush the first time I meet him... :tongue

What song is most influential to you?

Great answer. I would have liked to meet David too. Also, Koheleth (who I have a hunch was Solomon), the writer of Ecclesiastes. I relate to him spiritually (sometimes I struggle with world-weariness and "all is vanity" type thinking, wisdom is a virtue that I love to pursue) -- I think he would have been great to have spiritual conversations with.

As for which song is most influential to me, I would say "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing."

What song most closely relates to your spirit?
