Merry

At check ups the Dr always asks how much wine I drink.
I answer, only one glass a day...
But it's thhiiiiis big!!

Here it's not IF you drink wine, but how much you drink!

Merry Christmas
Wondering
Seeing how we shouldn't drink water what's left?

Do you know anyone that moved to N.Z.?
Have you been there?
Recently met someone who served there in the military. He said he loved his time there and would definitely consider living there. He said we should like it there. My wife and son will be going there this spring.

Good that they're going. They should ask a lot of questions. Stability of govt, tax situation, schools, medical system, etc.

I know a young couple that moved there for financial reasons about 4 years ago.

I think the US is the best country on Earth but we all have our personal reasons.

My prayers are with you.

Its great. Nice weather on Christmas day. Can have a BBQ or go the beach.

I would like a winner Christmas. I want snow and fireplace and roast turkey. It would be great.

We got snow here but not close to me. I went my friends house the other year and seen snow. I went outside to catch snow, it was great. First time i ever seen snow fall.

Perhaps in future, you & I should do some trading places for the holidays, kiwidan.

You can holiday in good ol' Illinois, where dreaming of green Christmases can be just that: a dream not realized. This year, however, we are treated to a green Christmas.... yea!

I could handle warm weather for the holidays. I could definitely handle warm weather!

Learning the medical system was a crash course sort of thing. They basically have free medical for Kiwis. There is government type insurance and private insurance...again for Kiwis. There is tourist insurance for foreigners but it is for emergencies. On the American side there is private insurance and Medicare but only for here in America. There is American international traveler's insurance, but again, only for emergencies. That leaves cash. Cash is accepted in New Zealand and we will be able to bypass the waiting list and see an after hours doctor by using cash payment. We still have to locate a medical center and provide a GP with our son's records. He will then have to refer a specialist. We still have a lot of ducks to line up. We do have the cash but it will delay our time table to move. As soon as our son got sick we began to liquidate assets.
