[__ Prayer __] Mission Trip

Thanks Ginger. As for some prayer concerns, you could pray for us as we've been a bit worse for wear lately. One of our team was ill all night on Tuesday, and I and several others have come down with colds, so we could use some prayer on that end of things. Other than that things are going well, we are traveling south today to visit a new church plant, and we're not sure what to expect as we will stay with host families (might not have toilet paper or water, just not sure). Pray that we will just have grace to be grateful for whatever is set before us. Thanks for praying :praying

Good hearing from you Caroline, glad you arrived safely......praying girl! Kick the devil in his (A)! Ah hah got you....the (A) is for Attitude!!!! Enjoy sharing the joy of the Lord! :shades

Pics please......remember we got you and your team covered in prayer without ceasing until you arrive home. Even praying for Tim's lonely heart! :yes

God's speed Caroline......love you in Christ girl!

Will do, was praying for your health but I will have to redouble that - colds are horrible :verysad (but I wasn't praying for your coworkers - my bad!)

I will pray for those points :thumb

Caroline has made it back safely to campus. She is tired so I think she'll be posting any news about the outcome of her trip tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

Well, we made it home! What an amazing experience that was! I wish I could share it all with you but there's just so much to cover that it would be impossible. I will post some pictures soon. I appreciate all your prayers, and assure you they were needed. Kazakhstan is nearly void of evangelicaly minded Protestants. They have a Russian Orthodox presence there and a big Islamic presence there, but with the Orthodox believers it is so iconistic it's rediculous. They miss the redemption part and are convinced on their works. The missionaries we were working with are helping with the Russian Baptists there, but they said that in the whole of Central Asia there are only 3 families helping with the work there among ANY protestants, including them... That is a huge defacit. We drove through one city on Thursday that had only a small group of Christians meeting in a small house church. About 15 Christians for an entire city! I pray for them that they would grow in strength and numbers to reach their city for Christ. :salute

Caroline, I am glad you are safely home. I look forward to hearing from you what God is doing there.
