Okay, I've forgotten the name of the movie, but have any of you heard about the movie that should be out soon (if it isn't already) that's about the missionaries? They went to a tribe of people that had never heard the gospel, and ended up becoming martyrs. It's based on a true story from what I've heard.

At The End of the Spear (or something like that) that's what it's called!

Anyway, I've heard it's supposed to be pretty good. I'd like to see it. What about ya'll?

Yes I saw that advertised and I want to see it the previews look realy good. I will wait till it gets in the video store where my daughter in law works, I ask her boss if she was going to order it , she said if its a good movie she will see it on the trailers she gets , and order it. If you see it first let me know if its as good as it looks. :D

End of the Spear

Yea this looks good. I'm going to try to go see it this weekend if i can make the time. Saw the previews a couple days ago.

Local Christian radio has mentioned it a few times too.

Go see it. I'm going to bring my dad and nephew to see it when it comes out... and whoever else wants to go. :)

Oh I seen the ads for it a couple of times. I didn't realize it was about missionaries. I rarely go to the movies anymore, so I'll wait till it comes out on DVD later this year.

I get the impression that it s centered around Nate Saint and I heard the filming of the movie was urged on by Nate's son.

Probably the most popular of these missionaries was Jim Elliot, husband of Elizabeth Elliot.

No problem Scott. I needed to find out if this was the same group of missionaries that Elliot was with., as I wasn't exactly sure. I find it truly amazing that some of the family went back, forgave them and continued to live and witness to them. I understand about 25% of the tribe are nor Believers.

What an awesome testimony!
