Too bad it seems it was a bust. I'm not sure why they didn't live stream from an actual video camera, rather than making it a graphical representation. I hope they did record it via cameras and can get the video, unless they have permanently lost communication (I kind of lost interest after a bit).

I will watch it all for my dad who died two years ago come December who watched all these launches when he could and watched the Apollo 11 launch from the cape .

He was big on NASA and hated the space shuttle program.i have visited nasa twice because of him .I have explored it's pre cape and Nas ,aas history as well .there is more to the pointy barrier island then just cape Kennedy.

I think of dad when I hear this song .there is of course function in it but footage and the cgi up to the iss is legit .there is the boy in tears .he lost his parents to the Columbia disaster which occured 1feb 2003 ,the astronauts in the red are that crew ,the others in the blue are the crew of the challenger which exploded over the cape practically on 28 feb of 1986. That event I saw happen live and went out to the court yard of Gifford middle seven to see the explosion .in this video the boosters shown seperation is a cgi remake of how that explosion occured and was cut short .irc.


Rip dad .he also got me into trek .this video has sci from trek mostly but also 2001 the space Odyssey and the angry red planet . Both of which dad liked .
