Here I am sitting at a coffee shop. One of the employees is mopping right next to my table. If I stand up , I will walk on a newly wet floor. Timber floors. No yellow signs either to warn of slipping over or to be careful.
Am I a pain in the neck? Have i read too many health and safety regulations? I just think, if a customer slipped over, and sued, they would have no legal defence. Just takes one accident.

It dried in 5 minutes. Windy morning. They opened up the doors and windows.

If you know them, have a quite word that they should mop the floor after they have closed or put up a very visible sign " wet slippery floor!"

If they do it again find another coffee shop.

I wrote an email to management. They said workers are only paid to clean during opening hours.

It's always good practice if you believe something could be unsafe to let the management or someone in charge know your concern.
