You're trying to avoid the question, you're not that ignorant. Have you any iknowledge a gap between kings in Israel's history?
You are like every fundie I have ever debated. YOU refuse to answer a question and then accuse me of doing the same. You veer off topic and rather responding specifically you post more and more scripture which is not relevant to the topic at hand. If by "Joshua" you mean Jesus, I would point out once again, that you are just speculating on the transliteration of the koine greek name into the Hebrew. At any rate whatever Jesus name was in Hebrew is irrelevant. Furthermore, Jesus never reigned as a King in Israel (being called King of the Jews by the Romans surely does not qualify) and was never anointed as a mashiach as stipulated in the Tanakh. As previously posted he never fulfilled the agenda of what the mashiach is to accomplish in the real world as per the Hebrew prophets.
The Hebrew bible tells us that the Davidic claim to the throne (thru Solomon) is eternal
17. For so said the Lord: There shall not be cut off from David a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel. Jeremiah does NOT say there will always be a Davidic king on the throne-indeed the Tanakh states that there will be a long interregnum
1 Kings 11:11 . . . HaShem said to Solomon, "For as this has been with you, and you have not observed My covenant and My statutes which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and I shall give it to your servant. 12. However, in your days I will not do this, for the sake of David your father; from the hands of your son I shall tear it.
Hosea 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince
