More Power Needed Dream



My Dad and I are in the repair shop. My Dad wants me to melt some solder into a small metal cup of about an inch diameter while he holds the cup with a tool. I pick up my trusty soldering gun and start the task, the soldering gun is working great and I think the tip must be tightly installed to get so hot so fast. I fill the small cup with as much solder as Dad wants no problem.

Dad later comes back with an about two inch cup to put solder in for him and again I pick up my trusty soldering gun and I fill the cup with melted solder but it does take longer since the cup absorbs the heat from the soldering gun more.

Later Dad returns with yet another larger cup of about a three inch diameter, I again get my usual soldering gun out for the task but this time I make a mess with solder and it will not melt and flow into the larger cup, I can't get it hot enough with this soldering gun. I think I will have to find and get out my seldom used soldering gun that is double the wattage of my usual soldering gun. End of Dream.

The meaning then appears to be this: You have been used of God in the past to create spiritual connections in the body of Christ, especially through gifts like dreams and other manifestations of the Spirit. In the past the Lord used you to create a small amount of spiritual "solder" through which He could do this, and then a larger amount. But now He is calling you to up the amount He needs to more than ever before, because He wants to create even greater spiritual connections between members of the body of Christ.

I know this is no exaggeration from working with you. The Lord has used you repeatedly to help me create and maintain (and in some cases keep from losing) connection with important members of His body through the dreams God has given you, but you need to appeal to Him to use you even more now. He will call you to do more of the same in the future.
