Moses: “drawn from waterâ€Â

Exodus 2:9. And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. 10. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

The role of Moses in the salvation of Israel from captivity in Egypt has a direct link to Jesus and the salvation of mankind from enslavement to devils in the pit of hell (the earth environment). Let us take a look at the key in the word “mosesâ€Â. It means “drawn from water†as Pharaoh’s daughter decided upon that as a name for the child.

Drawn from water

There are several things that may be drawn from water.

1. Drinking water comes from water.

2. Fish for food comes from water.

3. Wine comes from water as Jesus showed us at the wedding in Cana

Moses and Jesus were both saviors

We all know Moses “delivered†the children of Israel from Egypt and they entered the allegoric “promise land†of Palestine, which referred to the true promise land of Heaven.

Water and Word-Jesus the Savior

1. Jesus pours water from his lips in the form of words, John 1:1, 14, 6:63, Revelation 22:17

2. The water Jesus gives becomes water of eternal life, John 4:10-15, 7:37-38.

3. Human fish may be drawn from the waters of humanity, Revelation 17:15, Matthew 4:19.

Salvation by Jesus

All humanity is enslaved by devils in hell, which is a prison house confining devils until their execution by fire. The planet Earth analogous to Goshen is situated in it. Devils know men are God’s offspring and they enslave them as fast as they are born, Revelation 12:11-12, Matthew 12:43-45.

Like Moses the work of Jesus is to deliver his human brethren from the bondage and enslavement of Satan (Pharaoh) and hell (Egypt), Luke 4:17-21, Matthew 23:9, Hebrews 2:14-15. The place where Jesus delivers men is the REAL PROMISE LAND, Heaven itself, not Palestine, the allegory site where Moses brought the Hebrews, John 17:24, 12:32, 10:28, Revelation 5:9-10, Hebrews 12:22-24, Isaiah 49:6-10.

In conclusion we see that Moses’ life and work was a living parable pointing to the work of the REAL “DELIVERERâ€Â, Jesus Christ. Just as Moses delivered the Jews to Palestine, the work of Jesus is to deliver his human brethren from hell (Egypt) to Heaven (the real “promise landâ€Â). And these conclusions are “drawn fro waterâ€Â, the Word of God in the scriptures, 2 Timothy 3:15-17.
