Am i the only mountain biker that is christian in the city of loveland in Co???????

it stinks, i go to a "biker" church.... not bicycle, try louder more faster bikes.
and i am the only mountain biker, i have tried to connect with others but allas i have failed :(

It seems that people who enjoy cycling in adulthood are fairly rare. I purchased a "hybrid" road bike about a year ago and enjoy riding regularly, but have had trouble finding anyone to ride with, so I mainly ride alone. I've read some surveys showing that only about 1% of the population cycles seriously (rides of an hour or more at least once a month) and the pace you ride at is entirely dependant both on the type of bike, terrain you like to ride in, and fitness level. Even if you have two people with a similar enjoyment for cycling, one may be very fit and have a road bike and the other may not be very fit and have a mountain bike, so it's not very practical for them to ride together.

You could try the regional forums over on http://www.bikeforums.net for example and look for clubs in your area that set up rides. You could also ask around at your local bike shops to see if they organize any rides. Either that or just get used to riding alone, as I usually do. I'd love to have one or two people to ride with on a regular basis, but in absense of that, at least riding alone gives you the freedom to start and stop whenever you want, go wherever you want, ride at whatever pace, and so on.
