I started this thread to expound on the study of Deuteronomy being presented by Brother Chopper in the Bible Study forum which allows no debate.
God used Moses to minister unto the people, lead them into the promised land, and was that one of milk and honey, or one to be feared?
Deut 1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Heb 2:18 ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched.
Heb 12:22 but ye are come unto mount Sion . . the heavenly Jerusalem.
What is that which killeth? The law is a ministration of death, a ministration of condemnation given at mount Sinai not to be touched, whereas mount Sion, the heavenly Jerusalem is to be embraced being the ministration of the Spirit; that ministration of righteousness.
2 Cor 3:7 the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones
2 Cor 3:8 the ministration of the spirit
2 Cor 3:9 the ministration of condemnation was glorious
2 Cor 3:9 the ministration of righteousness excelleth
Blessings in Christ Jesus.
