I learned recently that as Leonard Nimoy helped develope the character, Spock, on Star Trek as he suggested his iconic hand symbol and uttered "Live long and prosper". This hand signal is symbolic of an actual Hebrew phrase meaning the same thing. He kinda snuck it in to the show. He found a way to express his Jewish heritage. I always did like Spock.
