saddened to read of his passing.. I can remember listening on the radio with dad , way back, when Cassius Clay was boxing..
I so wish he had won the fight of eternity

I got to meet and talk to him in the summer of 1970 when he came into the restaurant where I worked so I served him and talked to him. He was always riding around near my house on 52nd street, hanging out with my older friend Mr Gus Lacey a exclusive black club owner who lived on my same block. I didn't know Ali was that big until I was face to face with him. Wow I got to talk and serve the most famous human on the planet. Well he was at that time and stayed that way for decades. I am going to miss him, I have been his fan since 1965.

I imagine his fist or hands were huge.. And he was pretty just like he said..

Every two seconds someone dies. Some go to be with the Lord, while others go to hell.

I was wondering if someone would start a thread about him. He was indeed a very gifted person....and he really was the greatest heavy weight boxer of all time.

My condolences to the family.

Is something wrong? Are you ok?
It's just a joke. I have Chronic Fatigue and feel up to 9/10's dead most of the time.

I did strongly consider suicide at one point in my life (a near 2-year period having a migraine headache every day). But, I needed to know for sure as possible where I would go next. I started researching Near Death Experiences, since I'd had an OBE once, and got back story after story that suicides go to the outermost region of Hell...the very place I had visited years before. Decided it was a bad idea.

I was sorry to here about his death. I used to work in his neighborhood and a couple people I worked with got to meet him, but I never did. I sure would have liked to though. I always felt bad that he had to turn to Islam instead of to the true God. But at least we got to have him with us here on earth for a while. He was a truly class act.
