Music

I learned a lot from Jimi and like him, I created nothing. Ten seconds after Jimi finished a number he could not repeat tyhe Rifs he had just played and neither could I have. Jimi played Free Style and from him, indirectly, so did I. Thye biggest difference between our music was he played Blues and R&R, I plaqyed Blues and C&W... a little different, LOL!

All of the Love Ya Baby compliments are destructive because humans are so prone to being full of themselves. It took a long time to get past that trash and become myself again.

I read that Jimi would many times get pissed at shows because he liked to play freestyle...and just play for the people...but the crowds didn't come to hear Him play, they came to hear Him play hey Joe or whatever and the people yelling play hey Joe play all along the watchtower, rubbed him the wrong way. So he'd play a couple for them, a couple for himself...and walk away felling unappreciated. I can see that I guess.

Yes, it is sad but Jimi never got past himself, he died to young.

He was thousands of times better than the net best.

Yep, and he was humble about it. He denied being the best on the Dick Cavett show. Said he's the best guitarist sittin in this chair...

Frank Sinatra wasn't my generation, but between my dad playin his records and my mom playin other oldies...I got exposed to it, (and many different genres of music.) I learned to appreciate good music. I like Frank's music quite a bit.
