Yet no one has ever asked me about my avatar?

Does anyone like it or dislike it?

Is anyone curious why I use it?

Does anyone know what it is?

Does anyone care?

Does anyone want to take a guess about it?

Does anyone want to know the story behind it?

My avatar is the white rabbit.

The white rabbit from the movie alice in wonderland.

The white rabbit sung by the rock band jefferson airplane.

It is the white rabbit of the LSD drug culture of the 60's and 70's.

The white rabbit represents where I was, in the pits of hell, strung out on drugs.

The white rabbit is a reminder of my past until Jesus lifted me up and gave me new life.

The white rabbit is a reminder of who I was and where I came from so that I should never boast of anything that I might do for I was dead and am now alive in Christ.

The white rabbit reminds me of my frailties and weaknesses in the flesh.

The white rabbit reminds me not to look back but to look forward as my past is dead.

I am now and forevermore alive in Christ.

Amen!

My avatar is a commentary on the deep theological discussions here - they go nowhere! No one changes their mind. And, by all appearances, no one learns anything (or at least, they don't admit to it.)

I have over 100 avatars stored on my personal laptop... for all occasions, moods and forums!

Ah. I thought of Alive in Wonderland ever since I first saw it. Interesting story behind it, too. :)

I tend to change avatars a lot. They usually reflect me in some way. Sometimes I'll pick one to match an ongoing mood. Often I use my artwork. The one I have now is a somewhat cropped version of a drawing I did.

Well, good you can even remember how to do it; I've tried a number of times to change mine, but keep getting stuck.

Blessings.

Listen to the link Ezra posted on the Andy Stanley thread.

I knew it was the rabbit from Alice...I see his watch flying out from behind. I was curious why you used it but did feel I should ask. Thanks for sharing, that's not easy to do sometimes. Your testimony glorifies God.

Too me the White Rabbit reminds me of George Benson's rendition of the song.

If you've tried that, might be a technical problem. Trying on a different browser might help.

Well, ty, questdriven, I'll have to try again some time, when I have another avatar URL ready to use. I try to use the royalty free ones.

Blessings.
