Please pray. We're not close (he's actually my dad's first cousin), but he's had a rough life. My great uncle and aunt adopted this dude and his sister. She developed schizophrenia and ended up being murdered by her estranged husband. My great uncle made a good bit of money, then sold out his interest in a company he helped start. He died a few years later :-(

Now, my great aunt is about to lose her son. Most of the family dislikes him. Not only did he have drug problems, he never worked. He lived off a trust fund and got married after completing Teen Challenge.

I can relate to him, since I did Teen Challenge and I'm perpetually unemployed (to be fair, I have a psychotic disorder). I just can't stand the thought of him going to Hell.

Right now, he's in a medically induced coma. Advanced throat cancer. My parents are already making plans to head up there for the funeral sometime next week. Please pray that he'll be saved, somehow. He may still be a Christian, for all I know. He did Teen Challenge, but then he got a DUI a few years ago :-(

Please pray for his salvation. I believe that, as long as he's alive, Jesus can work something out. Comas are no barrier to Christ. That said, his time on this earth has just about come to an end. Also, pray for my great aunt. She's going to be childless and a widow, facing her own advancing age.

Thanks.

Please pray. - - He may still be a Christian.
I'll sure pray for our Lord's will to be done, but if he ever was a Christian God has never left or forsook him. 2 Tim 2:13 If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful . . I also ask for great grace to be with your aunt at this time in Jesus' name.

If he went through teen challenge, I believe the seeds that were planted in him will bear fruit unto salvation.

I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will receive him, as He knows who are his.

Here is a good promise from the Lord for you to pray, and put the lord in remembrance of his word.

His word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish the very thing that He sent it to accomplish. Isaiah 55.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." Acts 16:31

If this young man is part of your household, then you must petition the Lord for his salvation, with this promise.

I stand in agreement with you, for this man's salvation, In Jesus Name!

God Bless you.

You say he's in a coma is he capable of responding to touch.. just because he looks unconscious doesn't mean he can't hear you?

He is in my prayers, along with his Mother, and your family, Christ_empowered .

I agree with Brother TOB, and hearing has been proven to be the last of our senses to go even when our body is in a coma. Some that have come out of comas stated they heard everything told them.

I too, will pray.
JLB, has given you good scriptures to stand on.

I shouldn't have doubted his salvation so much. I'm definitely no better than he is. I just don't *get* eternal security of the believer, you know? Because of a number of factors, I often feel that I may lose my salvation at any point, and I have that fear for others, too.

Anyway, its awful. I mean, its awful that he's dying, its awful how his life went, its awful how the extended family treated him and talked about him. Awful, awful, awful. I'm starting to wonder why God is doing this, honestly. My great aunt probably won't be alive all that much longer. Why take her son away from her at this point? I'm not angry, shaking my fist, or anything like that. Just...wondering...wondering...

Praying for your cousin and you and the entire family at this very difficult uncertain time...praying that God's inexplicable grace intercedes and ministers, as only He can do. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.
