"You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows." (Psalm 23:5 NASB)
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10 NIV)
"a good measure -pressed down, shaken together, and running over." (Luke 6:38 NASB)

Years of the hopeless depression and futility and frustration of this life have brought me to a renewed longing for and dependence on God. He has not let me down. He is faithful to those who seek him with all their heart and soul. The promise of his filling is not an empty one. It can not be contained. It can not be covered with a bowl. Like a city on a hill, it can not be hidden.
