I don't like to hear of the passing, but at least you have confidence in seeing him again.

My father passed away when he was 42 of a heart attack, so I know what you are going through.

Prayers going up for you.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Yahshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yahshua will God bring with him.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of YHWH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of YHWH shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For YHWH himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet YHWH in the air: and so shall we ever be with YHWH.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I'm sorry to hear that, losing a loved one is always hard. My condolences to your family.

As an atheist I won't say anything religious, so I'll say this instead.
Whenever you hear the sort of joke that your dad would have told, remember that he would have wanted you to hear you laugh.

My paternal grandfather passed away in December also. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Tommy.

It's good to know that he's with the Lord. God Bless and sorry for the loss.

He didn't pass away, Tommy. He just moved to Heaven.

When I think about it that way, it makes me feel better. And that's especially good since it is the truth!

tommy38-The death of a loved one is the most devastating of circumstances I've ever faced. My heart goes out to you as I know what you've experienced and still are.

I, too, lost my dad November 1993 and my mom that same month 2002. Just recall this precious promise from our Lord...

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

We shall see our loved ones again.

*sigh* Sorry to hear that tommy, I know what you're going through as my grandmother (who raised me) died yesterday of pancreatic and bone cancer.

God bless you and strengthen you Tommy. I lost my dad out of the blue in 1995.

Well, like the Word says, your dad has passed from death to life...

Love and blessings, Jari
