She’s on meds for an illness. She’s a trooper but it seems both painful and frustrating.

I’m thankful that we…my parents and I…have access to quality medical care. Side note : a lot of the family doctors in our area went concierge. It means to be a patient one must pay 1500-2000 yearly and then I guess they coddle you? I dunno thankfully some new doctors have moved to the area…

Anyway good medical care and she’s taking the prescribed treatments. She is a great person…she was doing her usual volunteer work when she had to go to the doctor…

And I hope she will do well with the treatments and recover soon .

Side note : pain treatment these days is ridiculous. I get that there’s an opioid epidemic etc but seriously?!?! I think they had to prescribe multiple non narcotics to get her a reasonable amount of pain relief. Until fairly recently it would’ve just been a short term Vicodin prescription not that big a deal. Ok off soap box now…

She’s doing so much better. Her treatment involves a week or so of antibiotics so I hope she’s going to get better and better as treatment progresses.
