Myspace, Facebook, both or neither?

I've got a Myspace so I can yak with my two daughters back in Washington and of course I had to add my buddy Thom (At least he's not touting being an Atheist anymore : ).

I pretty much use MySpace just for sending messages back and forth.

Speaking from a tech support perspective, I dont like MySpace, I know of too many people who have gotten Viruses off of that site. I dont have an idea about Facebook yet, just naturally assume that it will have similar issues.
My wife loves My Space by the way, lol.
