"The Bible even makes it clear that not everyone will have wealth: “For you always have the poor with you” (Matthew 26:11). We need to take God’s Word as written and ensure that we do not conform to the world’s message of equality."
Doesn't the gospel say to look after the poor though?
If we don't have to bridge some gap between rich and poor, we may as well not have charities. Ignore the poor then? Let them stew in their own poverty. It's their fault anyway? They don't try hard enough??
