Nation novel writing month. Starts November 1st!
So…I’m going to try to pump out a novel in one month like tens of thousands of other participants. Awesome ?

Participation is free. The organization is non profit.

Wish me luck ?!

As I write my book ?….

It dawns upon me that I’m blessed ?. And not well liked in my community lol ?. And a lot of that is because of His work in my life. And that I’m not sure ? what direction to take this in now lol ?

Are those the sentiments you are writing about ?

I've heard of NaNo, but never really gotten into it. If it helps, all well and good.

What kind of story are you writing? Have you written other works before this current one?

Hi ?

I didn’t finish by the deadline lol ?. But I’m still writing.

I’ve mostly written short stories before this…

Thanks ?

I've done some writing, and even finished some works, fiction and non-fiction. Started writing something new a couple of weeks ago.

Since NaNo is meant as a kind of motivational tool, I'm stuck on what to say about it. If I'm writing, it's usually because I have an idea to work on. I did one thing different with this current story, though. Just after Thanksgiving, I spent a week or so basically doing some kind of brainstorming. I got a notebook and wrote a bunch of story-related stuff, trying to run with various ideas and seeing if something coherent might come out of all of it. The notebook was half-filled, more or less, when it seemed the idea was taking form, and in a lot of ways it was some different than what it had been like when I started the brainstorming.

To my mind and for what it's worth, it's better to write well than to write quickly.
