I think it's worth pointing out that all we know about NDE experiences come from people who have made it back. We'll never know the experiences of those who died & never got a chance to tell us about it.

Perhaps God has a plan in letting some of us to catch a glimpse of eternal reality, and letting some others be led astray by demons on the other side.
 
There is only one relevent test of any spiritual experience.
What does it do to your belief or feelings for or about Jesus?

If it does not make Jesus more precious to you or if it degrades him in your sight it is not an experience from God.
