Need Prayer

Hi there. I'm new to this forum. I have a request from whoever is a Christian. I'm not yet born again but I've taken a year out reading the whole Bible and talk to the Holy Spirit constantly.
I had an experience where I repented 2 years and 5 months ago but due to the devil and demonic forces I didn't come to faith.
I didn't really know Jesus very well and I didn't understand that I didn't have to strive. I felt the Holy Spirit's presence and still do and I believe if he's chasing someone he can reveal himself in any way. I have heard countless testimonies of would be believers who had an experience of God BEFORE they got saved. Same here.
I don't believe that's reserved for believers.
Anyway what happened after the repentance was tragic. I thought I blasphemed the Holy Spirit and thought I was in the tribulation.
I was hearing voices and seeing things and tried to commit suicide.
I am now currently in a mental hospital.
I've been praying to God and asking other believers to pray to God that he convicts me again instead of the countless sinner's prayers I've done.
My parents were abusive Satanists and I was persecuted and put in hospital. So I have demons in me and demonic activity in my room. It's very active.
Sometimes I get paralyzed and violated. I often go into the spirit realm and see the demons and my childhood home, which is grating.
I want to desperately be free and I'm almost ready for salvation but some sins like smoking I enjoy.
I pray to God that he saves me and sets me free. It says in Ephesians that faith is a gift from God lest anyone should boast. So I don't believe in the sinner's prayer.
Can someone please fast and pray for me that I am no longer sad and afraid when it comes to salvation and I recieve the Lord? And that I have the demons removed. I don't want to end up killing myself so I need as many prayers as I can get. thankyou

Hi Riverlight2985

I gave you this in the New Member forum, but will repost it here.

SALVATION – delivered from sin, promise of our welfare

Salvation means to be whole mind, body and soul as we surrender our will to God and allow his will to work in our lives by applying Gods word to every aspect of our lives. This allows us to know the mind of Christ and all the promises of God for our own well being so we can face anything that tries to come against us while here on this earth so we can triumph and be victorious through the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Grace pardons us and mercy loves us unconditionally. Let’s start with the conversation of Jesus and Nicodemus to get a better understanding of what it is to be born again and how to shed this old sin nature through repentance and then we will move on to learn how grace and mercy works in our lives.

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Jesus was teaching Nicodemus that it was a Spiritual rebirth or renewal of our spirit that through Gods spoken word we can reconcile our past sins through repentance to be made sinless again before God. We are all born with a sin nature because of sin being introduced into the world through Satan’s deceit when he told Eve it was alright to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil even though God forbid them to eat of it. Our flesh will always sin because that is our nature and God can not see our flesh because of our sins nor can he hear the prayers of a sinner.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Sin separates us from God because God is a spirit and can only recognize his own children by what spirit is living in their hearts. We have to renew, rebirth - born again, Gods Spirit within us in order to be called a child of God and see the kingdom of heaven. We now put off the old man (flesh) and put on the new man (Spirit). We are renewed by the word of God and through the Holy Spirit teaching us of all things.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Colossians 3:7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

We now have an intercessor (Jesus) who sits at the right hand of the Father and hears our confession that we are sinners and need his salvation as we believe in our heart that he was truly sent from God as the living word that we can indeed become righteous again not of our own righteousness, but that righteousness that is God whom through his Spirit is promised to dwell in us. All we have to do is believe and confess that we are sinners and allow Gods righteousness to cleanse us and renew our spirit man. Jesus wants us to come as we are and allow him to make the changes that need made in our hearts. People want to clean the fish before they catch them, but Jesus says come as you are I will clean you from the inside out.

John 10:9 I am the door, if any man enter in, he shall be saved.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.

Romans 10:9, 10 if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in his heart that God has raised him from the dead thou shall be saved. Vs.10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

It is not by our works or good deeds that save us for if that was all it would take then Gods word would be made void in our lives and Jesus would have died in vain, but because we are all sinners, it is by Gods grace and mercy that forgives our sins and washes us clean by the atoning blood of the Lamb (Jesus) so we can be made renewed again and free from our old sin nature.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

It's totally up to you to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior as you submit all of yourself to Him and be obedient to His commands which are not burdensome. Just remember that Jesus loves you and wants to have that personal relationship with you as you grow in Him. :pray

I did submit to him once. But didn't come to faith. I didn't know it was a salvation event. It led to the devil attacking me. I can message you if you want me to explain .

No, you don't need to message me as it's all about having faith in Christ Jesus.

Maybe what I post today will help you.

Some years back I was custodian for a church. I like to clean when no one is around. One night as I entered one of the restrooms the lights flickered like an Aurora Borealis and I knew for a fact that church had no electrical issues.
Demon inside a church tried to scare me. That didn't work.

Sometime later, again cleaning all alone in the church, I was vacuuming. Plugged the vacuum cleaner into the wall and sparks flew from the outlet. This time I think the demon tried to kill me. That also didn't work.

In each case (there have been other events at other churches I've been part of) the solution to the problem was simple. I followed Christ's example and said these simple words which I would like to suggest that you use when the demon activity starts. They are as follows:

If you are an evil spirit I cast you out right now I pray in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Works every time my friend. Why? Because God hears every single prayer you pray. All you have to do is trust Him. He protects ALL His children. Why? He created all of us.

What loving parents wouldn't protect their children?

You might talk to the Holy Spirit but so long as you remain outside of God's kingdom and family, refusing to trust in Christ as your Savior and Lord, you are living in rebellion toward God and are guilty, therefore, of sin. Those who live in this way God calls His enemies and He will not hear their prayers. From the rebellious sinner God will hear only one prayer which is a prayer of trust in Jesus as one's Savior and submission to him as one's Lord, repenting of one's rebellion toward God and confession of the wrongness of that rebellion. Until such a prayer is made, to the rebellious sinner God remains deaf.

Psalm 66:18
18 If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear;

Isaiah 59:2
2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

1 Peter 3:12
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

James 4:8-10
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

1 John 1:9
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 10:9-10
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

I had an experience where I repented 2 years and 5 months ago but due to the devil and demonic forces I didn't come to faith.

Then your repentance was not true, godly repentance - the sort of repentance God requires.

2 Corinthians 7:10-11
10 For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.
11 For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you...

Same here.

Right. No one comes to Christ and is saved except God has first worked to draw them to Christ (John 6:44), and has convicted them of their sin (John 16:8) and enabled them to understand the Gospel (2 Timothy 2:25). But God never forces anyone into His kingdom; He never makes them His child by compulsion; all those who would be saved must freely choose to be so, as love requires.

But the Holy Spirit does not deal with rebellious sinners, with people who stand outside of God's redemption and adoption, refusing what He's done for them through Jesus Christ, as he does with those whom he has made his "temples" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Anyway what happened after the repentance was tragic. I thought I blasphemed the Holy Spirit and thought I was in the tribulation.
I was hearing voices and seeing things and tried to commit suicide.
I am now currently in a mental hospital.

Life without God at its center is an absurd and dark thing. He did not make us for an existence devoid of His rule, power and fellowship. When we try to live apart from Him, things always go awry and the devil, the "roaring lion" is looking to devour all who are crippled and confused by such a life. Often, rebellious sinners can't be made to pursue God until their sin has damaged them badly and the devil has gnawed on their leg a bit.

I've been praying to God and asking other believers to pray to God that he convicts me again instead of the countless sinner's prayers I've done.

Well, understand that salvation isn't obtained by way of religious incantation, some sort of spiritual magic spell. Salvation is a Person, Jesus Christ, and to be saved is simply to come into relationship with God through him.

1 John 5:11-12
11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

John 1:12
12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

Acts 4:11-12
11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.
12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

It isn't the depth of our sincerity, or the degree of our faith, or the expanse of our emotion that saves us. We are saved by God for Jesus's sake when we simply trust that Jesus died for our sins and consciously, explicitly submit to his being God in our lives. When we do, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us and we are thereby saved. But not because we have made ourselves worthy of salvation by the intensity of our prayer for salvation, because we've managed to convince God to save us with our deep emotion and towering belief, but only because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and in response to our trusting in him and his saving work on our behalf.

There is a story in the Gospel of Mark where a man whose son was demon possessed approached Jesus to free his boy (Mark 9:17-29). The father said to Jesus, "If you can do anything, take pity on us and help us!" Jesus replied to the father that "all things are possible to him who believes." In a fit of emotion, the father cried out, "I believe, Lord, help my unbelief!"

This was hardly a resounding declaration of rock-solid faith, of deep conviction in Jesus. Did Jesus, then, say to the unhappy and uncertain father, "I only rescue those whose belief is solid and deep." No. Instead, he cast out the demon from the child regardless of the father's doubts. In the same way, God saves us, not because we have acted in some way to warrant salvation, because we have acted to deserve or earn salvation by the largeness of our faith or sincerity, but because we have, with the faith we've got, trusted in Christ to save us.

My parents were abusive Satanists and I was persecuted and put in hospital. So I have demons in me and demonic activity in my room. It's very active.

Not a problem for God. All the power of the demonic together hasn't the slightest hope of resisting God. If you want to be free of any and all demonic power, turn to God, to Christ, in faith, love and submission and trust Him to liberate you from the grip of the demonic.

John 8:36
36 "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

1 John 3:8
8 ...The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 2:14
14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Sometimes I get paralyzed and violated. I often go into the spirit realm and see the demons and my childhood home, which is grating.
I want to desperately be free and I'm almost ready for salvation but some sins like smoking I enjoy.

No one comes to God for salvation who is not mired in sin and afflicted with sinful desire. God saves only these sorts of people (because there are no other sort).

Matthew 9:12-13
12 But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
13 ...For I came not to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.”

It's God who cleans us up; it isn't we who clean up ourselves for God. If we could be "clean enough" for God on our own, He wouldn't have needed to send His Son to save us from ourselves. No, salvation moves into position relative to God so that He can transform us by His power, changing our desires, thinking and conduct for us. He does this, though, after we come to Him for forgiveness, and cleansing, and adoption into His family.

I don't want to end up killing myself so I need as many prayers as I can get. thankyou

No, you simply need to trust what God has promised and properly understand the Gospel. See above.
