I need to ask your prayers, I'm currently worried a lot about my connect with Lord. Please, pray for me that I can find great balance and I could solve all my problems. I need to find a church and friends I need Lord to be with me more than anything.

Dear Brother Air, your connect as it were remains forever; God never fails, forsakes, or leaves us without His counsel regardless our walk with Him. I read your thread of having problems with the influence of past friends, and that seems to be one of our adversary's favorite tactics. We have been taken out of the world, but to be successful at overcoming the flesh as part of our old man, we must count it so and follow the leading of the Spirit.

I imagine Paul as the apostle in Romans Chapter Seven experienced every temptation we do, and finally came to the conclusion in Rom 8:1 Therefore, there is no condemnation for us which are in Christ. You'll make choices that will be conducive to your Christian growth, or find you back in the pig sty of the Prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32.

My advice is that Paul said in Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Make the life you want and receive those you love to you, but don't allow them to dictate the manner of life you've chosen in Christ.

My prayer for you is that God is allowed free will in your life to work everything beneficial to His purpose for you. May He give you strength to continue the walk He has begun in you, and for Him to prosper your efforts at being ever closer to Him. I thank God for you, and may you glorify Him in all you do in Jesus' name. Amen.

Hi there Air, glad to see that you are going to break from the past and enter the new, good for you! I suggest that you study 1 Peter 4:1-5 This text is just the remedy for what you are looking for. This will be a great fight for you to accomplish, with the Lord's help. Remember, those who you used to hang with are going to be the loosers, and you are going to be a winner. Also, your testimony to the others will be powered by the Holy Spirit. Right now you don't know what impact your change is going to make on them, but believe me, some of them just might want what you have. You and Jesus will make a great Team. Bravo, my new friend.

Eugene gave you some very good advise, he is a gifted Christian, full of the Holy Spirit. He will help you a lot so, don't be afraid to ask him your questions, he'll set you straight.
