Seeking Female Christian Friendship
Hello, I'm a shy, quiet guy, in my mid thirties and am seeking deep connection with a godly Christian woman. I'm at the point of my life where l'm longing for a godly woman as a best friend in my life. I feel I have no friends and am going nowhere in my life due to my situation. I can get incredibly lonely due to all of this. Tired of all of it. I'm desiring a female companion to chat with and be best friends with. I have never been married. I would like to study the Bible, chat over the phone with (as digital communication gets quite boring), grow together as friends or more. I'm a member of the church of Christ. Please message me and let me know if you want to talk and be friends. Thanks.

You didn't ask for the advice you are going to get and P.ease read and think it over.

What is your priority. To stay in your comfortable bubble or to meet and interact with people ending with your own family?

Single women in their 30's are looking for marriage, not friendship.
So may I suggest if there are no single women in yout church you can talk to that so consider making changes to your life.
Suggestion, if you don't have to talk to people in your work, you work from home or are isolated, that you change how and where you work.
If working from home, change your hours so you can also work in a service job where you have to communicate with customers or where you work so you are mixing and socialising with colleagues.
Change your church to one where there are single women to whom you can talk to and socialise with.
Again what is your priority?
Talking to women is like any skill, it has to be learnt and practised.

Failing the above, talk to the old ladies in your church. They are all romantics and will love to fix you up with a lonely girl.

What ever you decide it means you have to change, are you up for it?

Hi JS1Jn513 and welcome to CF :wave2

These forums are for discussions of our Christian faith, which you are more than welcome to join in the various topics, but you might be better off checking out Christian dating sites for what you are looking for and possibly find someone who lives close to you. Many women are apprehensive to give out their information to a stranger that they have never had any contact with. I do pray that God will send you the right Godly woman in whom you can establish a friendship and share the word of God. Just pray and ask God to send you such a woman that is right for you.

I would recommend the Filipino's. I hear the American dating sites are scams. Even on Facebook and Tiktok I get a lot of women trying to message me so they can run whatever scam they have to get money out of people. I hear there are cat fish scams where it is not even a women but a man you are talking to.

Many things on the internet are scams. It's like the saying, "buyer beware". Just because something says "Christian" does not always mean it is.

The one word in the bible that I really take notice is the word MANY. This means more than half and few means less than half. Zechariah 13:9 tells us one-third will be saved.

"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" Matthew 7:21-23

This verse emphasizes that true faith is demonstrated through obedience, rather than just words or outward religious acts. It serves as a warning that not all who claim to follow God are truly aligned with His will.

2Tim 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Tim 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Tim 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Tim 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Tim 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Tim 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
