New Car for Christmas

That's been the question I have been asking myself all of my life.
no one fully understands me either. Even my shrink says I'm an enigma. She does this alot in response to some of the things I tell her: :screwloose2

I understand that bucks talk.
Is that what you hear?

I want to buy myself a new car for Christmas?

Why?

It seems like the thing to do.

Why?

Stop asking why?

It's called Americanism.

And I'm an American.

I thought I'd go Italian this year.

2004-maserati-mc12-25_800x0w.jpg

Now this is the MC12 supercar by Maserati.
But I really don't need to spend all this much money to be happy.

GranCabrio-Sport.jpg

Now I like this one, the GranCabrio by Maserati.
A lot cheaper and sort of looks like a new Mustang or Camaro.
Well,not really, but close enough.

I suppose I should consider one more.

ghibli_2.jpg.jpg

This is the new Maserati S.p.A.
A nice comfortable sedan, not costing much more than the best American cars.

Well, maybe I can skip the new car this year and give something to someone in need.
Now that's practical.
Okay, Mr. Wrigley, here's what we'll do.
We'll register this Maserati S.p.A. in your name and let you drive it around for for 2 weeks.
If you like it, we'll make a deal.
If you dent it, you own it.

I understand that bucks talk

I have never heard the male offspring of a deer talk.

I know in the bible it talks about a donkey talking

Numbers 22:28-30

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”
And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”
So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?”
And he said, “No.”

So yes a donkey but I can't find a buck

Yeh right.

I'm not as stupid as you look.

So, IOW, even YOU don't understand the language you speak!

I understand it.

What I don't understand is IOW.

Is that a nemoic for the Isle of Whight?
A "nemoic".
See what I mean.
Is that English???

In Other Words.

A paesana of mine moved to the Isle of Whight many years ago.
She comes back here often and is deathly afraid of these roads.
The high mountain roads, that is.
I hear Whight (two h's?) is a very exclusive place.

Sorry it's
mnemonic

A system such as a pattern of letters, ideas, or associations which assists in remembering something

Mid 18th century (as an adjective): via medieval Latin from Greek mnēmonikos, from mnēmōn mindful.

It's changed from when I was a kid. Today it's used in text speak.

According to my daughter when someone text me WTF and I said "well thanks friend" it didn't actually mean that.
