It just dawned on me.
If a new moderator is to come on board, most likely it will be to replace an existing moderator.
So, which moderator bites the dust first?

Yes, all the moderators do a great job, and a tough job it is keeping up with the likes of me.
But someone has to do it.
In the meantime, some fall to the wayside.
We are never told why.

But remember, let's not get too serious here.
It's a new year and this is a new fun game.

If I get to moderate, I will make this a Noob friendly place. As it is, just us old members are hanging out debating each other and the new guys get run outta here.

I also allow topics that describe the conditions of the end without banning folks. Flat Earth for example is sky rocketing this year with Google analytics and has come even with searches on NASA.

I tried to bring it here first, but this forum is no longer concerned with what is relevant now. Nor concerned with the Weapon that will bring the crazy idea of Evolution saying we came from rocks to it's knee's.

Instead we just believe that a vacuum can connect to a non-vacuum and space is real and not the way God made earth, We came from Rocks and we chase all the new folks away.

Well, a tough honest response is what we got here and I like it.
Honesty is always the best policy, even if it hurts.
While we're on the subject, I'm also the best looking guy on this forum.

The truth is we really do run off the noobs. But just as honest is the fact that many of them are simply here to press their distorted agendas and are looking for a fight. I can sense the feeling that all we want is for them to leave. And they usually do.

We all believe that we all have distorted views of everything. We talk, then like it's our job, we go off to battle, then come back and talk again. it's very strange here.

I have been having a heart for new folks and just hearing them and meeting them on their level.

Not really getting what you're saying.
But since we're being honest here, I don't really expect to be around too much longer. I'm very disappointed with the discussion here. I mean, there isn't any. Just a lot of hardened indoctrinations and a lot of pride, not honest discussion. I miss the Salem Network forum I was a part of until it went to Facebook in Oct. 2011. It had it's characters but the theological discussion was edifying. No so much here.

What I am saying is what your saying. We talk here, go off to the other thread, battle over the same stupid stuff year after year and come back and talk.

New folks don't stand a chance here, because all of us that have been around have come to just just accept each other. If something new creeps in we don't like, we get them.

Topics that could have started good, turn into a long trail of Hard coded theological debate with tons of scriptures that only some of us can sift through and continue to keep it going through counter points to things we only understand. The Original poster long gone, confused by the complexity of our understanding of scripture, not being able to keep up.

i come here, I say......... "Is it OK to Eat Pork on Sunday."

Can you imagine the pages of answers I am going to get?
I will get the Torah thrown at me, I will get the keep the Sabbath thrown at me, I will get eat what you want, nothing to be refused,

I will get pigs can actually fly, thrown at me.

Now I came here to learn and grow and may only know 10 scriptures somewhat. What am I thinking?

anyway, it's like that on most Christian forums now. you can go through them and see the same folks have been posting the same stuff for years and the new folks go through like a revolving door. Once in awhile one will stay, equipped to handle the onslaught. They fight for a voice and become like the rest.

Pigs can fly right? Not really checked in awhile.

What a refreshing post.
It makes one stop and think.
It is true.
It's like a private club.
You can join but stay out of the way until you learn the ropes.

Forums use to be a place to gather information. It worked way back, but now people want to talk with people and instantly.

People I come to find out just want simple answers to questions. That is hard on a forum because 20 people can respond with different answers. Nobody is on the same page and that turns new folks away. The way we look at interaction on the internet has changed, and forums have not changed with it.

Now that I have put a youtube video up, I get tons of scripture questions and folks of like mind talking in my channel. The draw back is that I have to somewhat stay within what people expect. I have 1,100 subscribers but I just can't throw them anything. I can't talk about Trinity or get wrapped up in KJV. You can't please everyone, but you don't have to come out hard lined about everything either.

This video I made is only 4 min, has 4,000 views in 4 days and over 200 likes.
I made a character called Mr. Spin I used in other video's. 5 min in photoshop and folks like him. People are strange. Mr. Spin is on top of one of the moon models.

The video is limited though in who it reaches, so I am trying to figure out a christian platform that grows close to youtube. I don't know if it's possible to build a forum like community like a forum with a youtube/facebook feel. I think it's worth looking into.

The whole thing spells a big question mark to me.
And when people try to tell me to stop looking into these things, I only question it all the more.
