Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm in my late teens and I'm going to Bible College here in southern Ontario. I like to ask questions and I like to debate, and I love talking about music (this is unfortunate; the music forum seems pretty dead. I suspect I'll get over it, though). I must admit I'm not really sure how to conclude this sort of post. Oh well.

Hi there, is your username a reference to the band, or a reference to the blood of the King?

Anyway, welcome to the site. :D

Hah! I honestly never thought of it as a reference to the blood of the King! That's clever, I'll have to keep that in mind.

So in other words, it's a reference to the band :)

Heh, I saw them in the early 80s in NYC. Of course, Greg Lake wasn't in the band, but Tony Levin, Billy Bruford and Adrian Belew were in the new band. What a lineup!

Hey, I'll talk music with you anytime, as long as it's not real heavy metal or rap/hip hop. 8-)

Hey KC. "not sunshine band" :-D this is really a great place to hang.. myself I play the guitar, love it always trying to learn new songs. anyway welcome, hang out, and ask away..............

Yea, I play some guitar too; mostly acoustic, rhythm... on Sunday mornings. 8-) But I play more than just Christian praise and worship music in my spare time.

I'll agree with that - that was a phenomenal line-up. I wish I could have seen that show, though it was a bit before my time ;)

Though my favourite line-up is the Whetton-Bruford bit. I guess Cross in there as well.

And I'm not a big fan of real heavy metal or rap/hip hop either, so there's another thing in common, heh.

EDIT: Oh, and while we're on the topic, I also play the guitar. I play electric though. Also at church on Sundays, though I enjoy playing around outside as well. I play in a secular rock band too, which I enjoy a lot. It's a good opportunity for outreach as well.

Speaking of Wetton... he, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and Geoff Downes have been touring as Asia. But unfortunately I missed them when they were in the NYC area. :-? They've been touring the world for well over two years now.
